Sailing into Forever: Our Sailboat Engagement Photos on the Coast in Wilmington, NC

We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting than Wilmington, North Carolina, with its charming coastal beauty and warm ocean breeze. In this blog post, we’re thrilled to share the story of our unforgettable day on a sailboat, where we celebrated our love and captured precious moments that will be cherished forever.

Before Setting Sail: As the sun began to set over the, we found ourselves capturing photos on the dock before setting sail.

Our photographer and captain of the sailboat, immediately made us feel at ease. Especially since I was a few weeks out of knee surgery and still had bandages on from getting stitches out the day before, we knew we were in for an entertaining evening of me balancing on the sailboat. You truly can’t tell in these photos that I was struggling to walk and had bandages on my knee!

Our photographer captured candid shots of us laughing, our hair tousled by the salty breeze, and our eyes sparkling with love. Each click of the camera froze these moments in time, creating a stunning visual narrative of our affection for one another.

Our engagement photoshoot on a sailboat in Wilmington, NC, was an experience we will treasure for a lifetime. It allowed us to celebrate our love in a unique and meaningful way, surrounded by the beauty of the open waters. And of course, we had to have a Champagne toast!
